Washington, DC Deputy Mayor Christopher Geldart arrested for assaulting a man in a shopping center parking lot

According to Arlington County Police, the incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, The Washington Post reported.

Law enforcement said the door of Geldart's car collided with the victim's vehicle

Police was informed about the incident by the victim on Monday
